Metal Detector Man Don't Crowd My View
18 May, 2004
Author: Sean Richard Clifton
Flip flops and beaches,
The sand fully resurrecting me,
Those lawyers, those leaches,
I get rid of them drinking by the sea!
Jimmy Buffet and Bob Marley,
Your music delivers the right punch,
If I sleep too late I'm sorry,
Just reheat my carnivorous lunch!
Jolly Man singing the local ditty,
Cheeseburgers encompassing our dirty table,
Stir it up girls looking very pretty,
Drink a lot, smoke a lot, leave very unable!
Palm trees, coconuts, trade winds,
Paradise flowing all around,
The mainland's problems are on amends,
Just loose yourself in the Caribbean sound!
