My Dance With The Moon

Upon the craters we glide
Two encounters; a collide
Following, encircling
Within our happiness combined

Galaxies, they witness
The swings and twirls; ageless
The stars, they sing sonnets
With the void of black breathless

Comets soar upon the empty sky
With our following movements up high
The rush, the feeling wondrous
Until we dance once more thereby

------- Author's Notes -------

This poem is sort of childish, yes, but considering I'm still emerging from my stage of childhood, I'd figure I'd use what bit I have left to create a poem. This is deticated to my sister, Danielle, who dances with me like my moon, and when she does, everyone sings. ^^ Thank you so much for being there, Dani. :)

Not Childish At All...

I really liked this poem Scorpio. As you probably assumed from my name, I love poetry when it comes to the moon, and I don't think this poem is so much as childish as you say. I think it is quite lovely and beautiful when it comes to imagery. Keep the good work up, and I'll keep reading!

Hello Moon

Hey Scorpio! I love to say hello to your beautiful moon, the way you take a poet to another level in your writing.... It draws a person in the dance with nature.... I can see you two gliding on the imaginary stage, and having fun! You, your sister, and the moon! What a magical/fairy moment! You have a powerful imagination, and like Princess Moon said, this wasn't childish at all! It's words like an adult,
I think! You're very creative! Keep smiling!

Thanks Meri and Princess!

Thank you both! I actually like this poem a lot, because it's like me when I wish to do something, I try and just go for it, like for example, dancing with the moon! It expresses my being and how I am entwined with all around me and being like a polymorph and sucking everything in the world dishes out at me! Both of your comments make me very happy, thank you!

Sophisticated

Not childish at all! As a matter of fact, it is very intriguing and insightful & sophisticated. Almost, sensual. I love it like I love the moon. Beatifully written.

Thank you

Wow, I'm glad it isn't! I was hoping for it to be of those things; it is how me and my sister Dani end up when we do our things together, such as seducing men ( ;) ) or going shopping or something. We're always a bit of all three, and this is just like when we dance with the moon. We love the moon as well, it is our friend. Thank you so much for your comment.
