Dark Dreams
Author: RubyDragon

As I close my eyes and think
a spectre shows within my light,
I slip slowly into unconsciouness
I leave my body and drift into the night,
within the darkness surrounding my heart
I need love to stop me falling apart,

within my mind is fear and fright
of being found before I'm lost,
stealthly my spirit is taken
with no love this is the cost,
I know my spirit will one day return
for this to happen I need love to burn,

Wherever my spirit has gone
I will find it one day, I will,
as deeper into the mist I go
slipping out slowly as my body lies still,
Dark Dreams take hold and deeper in I go
this is where my spirit and love lie low,

Further in the dream of power
and darker gets my heart,
finding my love around purple winds
and red lightning that flashes and tears apart,
this is where she will find me always and never,
when we are both there, we'll love each
other forever!
