What Kept Me Didn't Exist...

I heard your plea
when you called
I tried to get to you

but due to an unknown force
to you I was unable to come
I heard your plea of pain
yet I was unable to assist

somethings one can not explain
a friendship gained doesn't
mean a friendship lost

when history has been made
I do not find one
to lose another

the tone in my voice
as you've never heard it before
told you something was up

I never was one to lie
and you know me for that
so can we just go on

and pretend that whatever kept me didn't exist

I feel your emotion

Such pain I feel in your poem Terrie*! the depth you've created in your stanzas..... Maybe it did exist, maybe you just have to dig deep, and see if you can find it, don't lose hope my friend... Keep on pressing toward the mark!

Smiles,
Meridian
