I Don’t Hear, The Phone

So many years, have left her heart, so empty, yet, she is in the prime of her life
But, her life, doesn’t mean a thing, she is empty, Love was taken, away
She searches for, what, she once knew, love has been given to her,
Love, has been, taken from her, yet her heart searches, on, for the passion

She, now lives, a lone, with her heart, washes dishes, and irons the clothes
Goes to work, to pay the mortgage on her home, so, all alone, yet, her heart Burns, for all, we seek, someone to love us, and not go away, that is Our wish
However, there is a power, the highest, level of Love, and he decides, where we go

No matter, the pain you feel, he, will be there, and with passion, he will send
Someone to you, who, needs love, as you do
As he holds you in his arms and you say, I hear the phone ringing, he says to you, answer it, our stay, here, in my arms…,
The phone, I no longer hear, his touch, upon my breast, is all I feel

“I don’t hear the phone”
