I'm Coming To Colorado

It's autumn on the West coast
leaves are beginning to fall
The nights are getting colder
the chill cuts through the walls
Now lately I've been longing
for the sight of your sweet face
And there is really nothing
to keep me here in this place

I'm coming to Colorado
cause I've got to see you
I'm coming to Colorado
me and my big baby blues
I'm coming to Colorado
If it's the last thing I do
I'm coming to Colorado
cause I've got to see you

I've been re-reading your e-mails
drinking in every word
while watching for the next one
as if it were the first
Though I'm happy to get them
from out there in cyberland
I can't wait any longer
to touch your warm tender hand

I can tell you've been lonely
I read it between the lines
Girl we both are dealing
with tough critical times
So keep me in your prayers
as you fight the good fight
And keep your bright light burning
in case I roll in at night

I'm coming to Colorado
cause I've got to see you
I'm coming to Colorado
me and my big baby blues
I'm coming to Colorado
If it's the last thing I do
I'm coming to Colorado
cause I've got to see you
