Someday This Angel Will Be Mine...

they say that
Angels live right here among us
and take up space in our hearts
and yes
I do believe that is true
I know of one
I can feel that he is true
my eyes are blind
they can not see
because they have never
laid eyes upon him
but my heart feels
he is very divine
someday he will truly be mine
just in his words
i can feel such a glow
and the love for God
upon his heart it really shows
we carry inner knowledge
of things unaware
until a force takes us there
the powerful life of his words
shake the leaves of my tree
of things i find too much comfort in
makes me aware
that it's okay to have a bit of a flaw
and continue to love with
the muscles of my heart
someday this Angel will be mine
