I Sit And I Wait Patiently Thanx To You

a friend you are
a friend you'll always be
for believing in me
and in love...
I searched for love
you promised me
that someday there will be
someone to hold on to me
times gets sad and very lonely at night
your words became my morning coffee
and my evening tea
when we sit and talk my lonliness away
I sit and I wait
and still it is only you
my best friend whom chats and sits besides me
I know he's somewhere out there
like you said he'd be
but he hasn't arrived
where could he possibly be?
if he doesn't show
by my side for ever you promise to be
perhaps he gave up waiting for me?
sometimes I feel life may not be fair
moonshadows drift away
memories reunite with so much pain
a spark ignites and throws everything back again
if I could I'd erase them for a day
so I can hear the moon
as it speaks from it's heart to me
just as you and i sit and speak with our hearts
you've seen the tears that sparked in my eye
we seem to be too much alike
we feel the same bit of pain
If i asked you to take a hold of my hand
for the rest of my life
i know you would
so I could go to sleep
as i await..
and awake with love at my side
as I share these feelings for him that have aroused
where is my true love the angels bring to me?
that I waited for so long
and still no one by my side
only you my friend..
you remind me
passion can appear unexpectedly
so I sit patiently for my love to arrive
your someone special
whom breathed and inspired the best into me
for the man I patiently wait upon
I hope his heart is as pure as yours
thank you for believing in love...
I believe you are right ...
I will await for him to appear in my sight
because waiting feels so right..
