his phone call I await
when he tells me
I'm coming home Terrie Darlin keep the fate
I wait patiently
for him to lay his overworked bod right next to mine
in his arms I want to be
just him and me
my children are happy
to see the glow in my smile once again
I tell you .....this man
he brought me back to life
from the lifeless soul that i was
I count the days when he books that flight
and forever and always he will be at my side
if you knew me before
you'd see the change that one can not ignore
if you knew who he was you'd say
Damn how Blessed is she..
he has given birth to my soul
he has rejuvinated me down to the last cell
and every ounce of blood
to the beating of my heart
that entwines with his
he has given me the best gift in life
that a man could ever give a woman
a wife to him I may never be
but he has totally changed the person in me
when he gave me the best that he had
and that was the love of his heart
the second round for me
yet I am as scared as can be
i am still the luckiest gal to live
because
I am ever so blessed
that he saved the best of his love
for me

| Terrie* (65.135.86.49) -- Monday, November 29 2004, 05:22 pm many of my writings are based on a (death) of my first love (my husband) after many many years 13 to be exact... a new love has come into my life and. back then i felt like i died along with my first love , i was blessed and revived and given a second chance on love..by a very special man...this writing is based on my new love ..thats why i say this is the 2nd. round for me...he literally brought me back to life..when God brought him into my life... i hope that clarifies my writing's on some... i am flattered that you read them.. |
