Please Be Kind - We're Not Superstars

When we write a poem we reveal our souls
And in doing so we lose some control
We expose our hearts showing wounds and scars
Not intending to be `Superstars'
When you comment on a poem then please be kind
As most people have enough problems on their mind
If you can't say politely what you feel
Then please say nothing - it's no big deal!
It takes some courage to share our thoughts
So we don't need people making us distraught
We express our thoughts in many different ways
It's our therapy to help us through the days
We're not in competition so criticism should be
Of a constructive nature - that's the key!
Remember as you read, that our souls are bare
And making rude comments - only shows you don't care!

The reason I write my feelings is because then I don't feel as vulnerable. You are right people bare their souls in their writing. Thank you. |
