Hypotheticly Speaking
Author: The Lost Girl

Hypotheticly speaking, if there were a girl,
who thought she was worthless, and lost to the world,
Would you lend her a hand
to help her stand?

Hypotheticly speaking, say it didn't stop at depressed,
say she cut herself, then fully dressed.
No one knew that on her skin,
Crimson vines coiled, and they weren't thin.
Would you help her heal,
guiding her slowly, steady, and still?

What if you didn't,
And hypotheticly speaking, she sat alone one night,
letting pain eat her slowly, from out to inside.
She could no longer bare, her misserable ways,
so she cut very deeply, and dead there she lay.
Would you cry because she was gone --
or because one word from you could've helped her hold on?

I know it's easier said then done, but...

What would happen to this girl if a stranger in the midst gave her a shoulder to lean on and all the moments in the world to speak her peace. Hypothetically speaking of course, could this girl stop her pain?

It's been ages since you wrote these poems, but since I only recently found out about them, I decided to leave a short comment...

This actually brought tears in my eyes. I've gone through this kind of thoughts, and you know I can understand how you felt back then...It's sad that so many people feel that way, and those around them are either completely ignorant, or don't care enough to actually help them out..
