I love the thoughts of you comin' into my head
cause sometimes
I remember the naughty things you've said
I just want to keep you there

while I lay here and think
of all the crazy things I can do
while I'm here lying awake thinkin' of you

when I think of you I smile
of all the silly things you'd say
the funny faces you make
the laughter just won't go away

I close my eyes
I squeeze them real tight
it is true what they say
that our lives are all different in so many ways
and yet in all the difference's
they are truly the same.

I know many of your thoughts
are as crazy and wild as mine
even as I sleep and take you into my dreams
I know you will be there to safely watch over me
even in my sleep I can feel your love
good night sweetheart... good night
