upon the trellis of my heart
laid a brick
that blocked entrance
a great detour
no man one could get through
except for you

the magic in your love
turned that brick to dust
as your heart spoke to mine
by saying...
"i'm in "
your loving touch
melted all all my fears
and dried all my tears

you re-built the trust I lacked
a feeling I never thought
ever again could I gain
you brought my feelings back
you gave me
your unconditional love and support
you became the true trellis of my heart
by giving me your full support

you sent all the fears away
the words you wrote and shared
meant more than anything to me
as you shared your world
with all the love from your love

i thank God every second of the day
my praises never end
for annointing my life with your love
that you share only with me

by also allowing me to give to you all that I saved

your touch helped stop the pain
that was destroying me
by wrapping your love all around me

you took care of all my needs
you placed my head on your chest
when you reached into mine

while you carried me so far
never again have I felt the same

I know that the love I give you in return
will be satisfying as yours is for me
because I share the same love
you placed in my heart from your very own

I love you Darlin'
you are my strength
near or far
my heart is always where you are
as yours remains with me
while our hearts rest
against Gods heart
as we listen and feel
the Joy & the contentment
his heart speaks of our love
