Once, The Passion Flows, Where, Does The Love Go?
24 January, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
In my arms, I hold you tight, why do I hold onto you
When the passion, has flowed, from my flesh? I’ll, tell you why
But, you already know. Remember, that night, you were wearing
That, tight, flesh, loving dress, and eyes began to blur, over, you?
Yes, I saw, you to, but, you didn’t know, how lovely, you were
This, was just a party, and you had no where else to go, your
Dress, clothed your body, like an artery feeds the heart
Still, you didn’t know, how beautiful you were and still are
That was so many years ago, and as you love me again, tonight
I hold you in my arms and heart, as so many years, before. I asked
You once, a hundred years ago, when all those feeding eyes, looked at you
As you were that dress, so, innocent, why, did, you dance with me?
You, replied, I came to the party, because, I was bored, I never thought
That, I would dance, with the heart, I had longed for and most of all,
I remember, you never said a word, about my dress, you just ask me, to dance
So, for all these years, we have both shared our hearts, and danced
Yes, I know, the night, we became, each other, and after that, I cried, why? Because, I can’t forget, you took me in your arms again. You held me so tight, After, the passion, of the flesh, had flowed, You took me, in your arms, looked into my eyes, and asked, my I have this dance?
“Once, The Passion Flows, Where Does, The Love Go?”
Answer is, to the next dance
