Where's The Person
Author: The Lost Girl

I can help the most sorrowful person around,
I'm able to cheer them up,
while barely making a sound,
I'm everyone else's angel,
but what about me?
I have a problem that deals with edges and angles,
but why does no one see,
that through my fake smiles,
pain runs within me,
going on miles and miles.
I'm the hand that is lent to another,
it's almost like I'm everyone's mother,
I'm there to comfort and keep them secure,
but I'm the one who's not so sure,
about why I'm still alive,
I'm fighting a terrible, horrible lie.
A lie that I'm happy,
and deep down I might be,
but right now all I see,
is an awful me.
My flesh is covered with scars,
something that gives me ugly arms.
I know I was sent here to help people,
but where's the person to help me as my life is so feeble?
