My Heart Set Sail Into The Sea... by Terrie*

I set sail upon the sea
the calm waters remembered me
from the other day
when I sailed out to pray
the waters were starting to get rough
but my prayers were not enough
I continued to pray
I couldn't just walk away
I've done that too many times before
that’s why I'm in the mess I'm in
this time I've taken control
with just a few short prayers
that poured from my heart
while looking out at Gods beautiful art
the waves in the sea became serene
the glorious sunset was like a dream
before I left I realized
that the roughness of the sea
was what I held within me
when I prayed
God made them dissappear out into the sea
they put up a fight and created
such a wave
I thank God they didn't destroy me
he proved how much only he could love me
I opened up my heart
he was the one that deliverd me
he is the only source I can rely on
because no one is going to carry me through
he blessed my life with two great kids
and two great family companions
I love them all
they are a big part of my heart
he became my husband when
it was time for mine to go home
he will always be number one in my life
he never deserted me when I needed him the most
he lives in my heart
so I must remember to do as he
and allow my love to sail free

sometimes when we are facing trials in our life..we must allow or love to roam the oceans to understand other areas in our lifes dropping down to my knees and reaching out to a higher source brings me great relief..facing my trials also helps me appreciate what i have in my life, my kids, my man ,my babies(family pets) and even my friends and never take them for granted...thanx for readin'/commentin'...
