I Gave You My Most
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Last night I dreamt.
So much love I give,
To much for all to handle,
To be given this gift must be right,
To pass this gift to another cannot be wrong,
I look for love and see in all,
At the end of this time,
If itís true we all become the same,
A place where there is only love to give,
Was I born to soon?
Did I cheat and stay,
When this place was not for me,
You left me just as I gave you the most,
Day to day words of pleasing,
Words that ment so much,
Words that came from no other without asking,
Words that came from my heart and soul,
Words that convey me to you,
I Love You were those words,
Then one day you left me,
Just when I gave you the most
