she feels cheated
and so used
I felt the sadness she released
when her silent cries reached my heart

ask me how I am?
he cheated
he lied
he gave away
what you promised was mine

ask her how she is?
she'll tell you no lie
so be gentle and honest with her
do no more harm to this child of mine
at her hearts expense

the love i promised was hers

it is so empty

a lie doesn't live well with me
yet honesty is what got me here

Our Pain
Our pain will never compair to that of a mothers heart broken,
Our Pain will never compair to see a pain you canot cure,
Our pain is a reminder of those times long ago when no one gave a hand.

sometimes we inflict pain upon ourselves
