Comings And Goings
8 March, 2007
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

So many writers come and go
As inspiration flows
like the ebb and flow of the tide
the words come
then dissipate and subside

Always good to see a familiar name
once again come to fame
To think emotions are so intense
they seek release of pen
as the choice of defense

Though many writers come and go
it's good to have a home to show
a place to display the outcome
of emotions truly inspired
It's the art of feelings that have transpired

home..a comfortable place , to be ourselves

your place is a place we all find comfort in,it's what we call home... its a place where we are not judged for our mistakes ,it is a place where a "friend" offers us the knowledge to see life with clarity .especially when we wind up takin' the road w/many bump guards..a "friend" takes us by the heart and helps us look at life from all angles especially when it's cloudy in the inside ...over all when i found DREAMERS i found ,we cain all grow separately w/o growin' apart..and no matter how long our duration away was, we are always welcomed back...great read !
i liked this touched and spoke gently to me in a deep warmin' way..

There's No Place Like Home

It's like Kansas up here. Sometimes when we take a break from writing to focus on other aspects in life, once we do return, it like we're Prodigal Sons and Daughters.

This site is an addiction. Dreamer, fascinating poem!
