The Have's Of The Have Nots
6 June, 2007
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

No more do the birds sing
Silent puppies don't bark
The deaf hear not sounds of life

There are no skies of blue
Stars no longer twinkle in the night
For the blind do not see

There is no joy, no happiness
Bland day in, day out repeat
The depressed do not know joy

There is no time to rest
No moments to enjoy the fun
For the work-a-holic there is never enough time

But to all there is a life
To all there is a dream of a difference
And in their dreams, a better future is born... for all

If they realize and listen to their hearts...
