Together we dance
when there is no music to be heard
We could dine by candle light
but lift our glasses in the morning sun
We date by the TV side by side
you in your chair, me in mine
And as I look to you
my eyes fill with tears of passion
You kiss me goodbye as you ready to leave
I walk you to the door for one more hug
In the stillness of our love I whisper "I love you"
you reply "I love you too"
Crossing the parking lot
I reach for your hand
You securely take it as yours
and we walk through our lives together
