God's Action Figures
Author: Shiloh

No one, truly,
especially these days,
knows my heart.
I no longer am one
to share such openly,
as I once did.
Once I trusted,
all too freely,
only to be blind-sided,
and did not learn from that,
as I should have.
Life is not wonderful;
it may be a test,
it may be that we are but God's action figures
and He is watching us
to see what else we might do,
but Life is hardly wonderful.
Life is not a Hallmark movie.
