When I Think Of You
10 January, 2000
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

As the music fades
It's your voice that remains clear
The sound of your words
As you say my name

As the castles turn back to the mist of dreams
It's your face that that I see though the mist
Your eyes as you look at me lovingly
Taking all doubt away

When the sun doesn't shine
It's you that shares a rainbow
The tenderness of caring
That makes the clouds bright

When I am weak
It's your arms that lift me making me realize
I have the strength to go on
Making me strong

When I feel lonely
It's your heart that reaches inside
Reminding me of all that is good
And giving me hope

When the nights turn cold
It's you that warm me
Blanketed in your warmth
I feel comforted

When I am scared
It's your face I see
Telling me it will be fine
Taking away my fears

When the world is ugly
I think of you and the person you are
As again I see beauty
My world is no longer dark
