Spring Tranquillity
12 March, 2001
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

Smoke rises from a nearby chimney
Spiraling touching the sky
Robins hop about feeding on worms
And gathering for a nest's creation

The sunlight reflection is bright
Shining in the puddles of the recent rain
A small child goes by on his new bike
Popping wheelies while still on training wheels

Dogs bark at something unseen
A noise of movement under the bush
As the boy laughs with happiness
And the birds sing their rain song

All is right for the moment
Each minute as it should be
Quietly perceiving the arriving spring
Feeling overcome with tranquillity

you really know how to bring people into your poems i have only read a couple of them and already see that you know how to write. im doing a concept paper on tranquillity and was wondering if i could use your poem as a reference to the word. the poem goes really good with my topic. thankyou for your time and keep up the good if not great work.

Into The Poem

I love when people tell me that for that moment that they were reading my poem they were lost in it....And now i finally get to say that to someone...i was there, with every noise, sight, laugh, and minute.
And Mental....i find your poetry very good and ur comments amuse me, Just thought u mite like to know that.
