Tell Me Why
14 May, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

Tell Me who I am
Tell me why I am here
Tell me the reasons I must suffer
My God tell me why

Am I good enough
Am I who you wanted me be
Am I your martyr
My God tell me why

Is this my destiny
Is this how it was supposed to end
Is this pain with reason
My God tell me why

I have done as you asked
I have done my human best
I have done it all
My God tell me why

I beg of you... Please tell me why

------- Author's Notes -------

I wrote this after watching a movie about Joan-of-Arc. I can only imagine her cries for understanding.

you are good

dreamer I think we have all asked that question when in pain. but seeing somebody elses pain makes us understanding and compassionate to them.
and that makes others feel better. your writing is so good and from the gut. ty

The Queen of Poetry! Hey Rebecca a.k.a Dreamer! Very outstanding poem Queen! "My God Tell Me Why"! I can hear your cries and pleads through the way you put emphasis on your words! Maybe you're going through trials, to test your faith!
