Just Take This
6 July, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
A pill to remember
A pill to forget
A pill to stay well
A pill you'll regret
What's with the medical field these days
All woes-be-gone with just one more pill a day
Fixing the outcome without finding the cause
So many pills must be against nature's laws
A pill for tomorrow
A pill for today
A pill for your health
That a pill takes away
------- Author's Notes -------
How many pills does it take to live a healthy life these days? How did we get through life with out them? Just something to ponder...

the side effects of many medications are worse than the illness it is suppose to cure..some of us still stick to the native ways of our ancestors..great point..

you are right when you think of it we are a pill popping world. A pill to make us sleep, stay awake,be happy, feel no pain. All our feelings are taken away . Very good dreamer good observing.

Who can live with them,
Who can live with out them,
They can cause such relife,
They cause so much pain,
A life once had with fun,
Now I'm old and need another pill,
too much pain. does my body cause pain or the pills I take daily?
Great thought Dreamer

I hate pills! I'm like you Dreamer.... Sometimes, we can just wait the pain out... But other times, we have to use common sense and take that pill, otherwise the pain will still linger.... Sometimes, pills don't work though...
But, I agree, on every commercial now, it's a pill for this, and a pill for that...
Great thoughts Dreamer!!
