Running To The Pony Line
when the fair is in town
two excited children we become
the amusement rides are fine
but we run to stand in the pony line
mommy and daddy know what we like
corn dogs horse races and a good beer for daddy
basket ball hoop game, bean bag toss and pony rides
for my baby brother and i
mommy enjoys the concerts the bands
and the magical shows held at the grand stand
every autumn we let out a big cheer
when the fair is here
to get on the awesome pony rides

You found your nitch in life. Children poetry is so nice, you understand how kids feel on certain events. Very intuitive.

within a childs heart and sees the world through their eyes..one is totaly taken away to a world of cotton candy clouds and the beauty of wings...it all takes me back to my child hood which was...uhh.....well lets just agree and say it wasn't too long ago..(Giggle) cause like you i still love childlike things...i have many written in journals ...deciding which ones to post and when is always tough..so i have a young friend select for me just as i do w/my best buddy in making a selection by e-mail of what i will post..for a more mature audience i figured w/a general audience of young ones reading like my new Angel friend Amy..it would be nice to offer my children material too..thank you soooo much Doll...
