I Walk With You
29 November, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

My tears are reserved for the darkness
A time when no one can see
They are for all the happy memories
Of all the time you spent with me

I will miss you always
Thankful for the time we had
And all the happy moments shared
For these memories, I am glad

You taught me so much in life
Things that are with me still
The love that I hold for you in my heart
It's a place no one else will ever fill

Even though I will miss seeing your face
In my heart your love is still true
In every path I walk through life
I know, I will walk it with you

------- Author's Notes -------

I will always miss my dad. But he is a part of who I am and is with me always .. for this I am thank-ful

An absolutely beautiful dedication to a father.
The words are so well composed and delivered with excellent rhyme and meter. Many will relate to this piece.

Beautiful dedication to your Dad, This poem makes me think of my grandpa. I know they are with us, smiling down on us, and they will walk every path with us we choose to take. Beautiful Poem!
