A Cheap Motel
Author: Vampyr Tears

Green eyes darted around the room. She could see him, across the smoke filled room. At a round, battered table, an ash tray tipped over, and some blonde half asleep.

He could see her looking at him, and immediately flashed a gleaming smile.

"Wow," she mumbled, standing up and nearly knocking over the blue martini glass.

He was approaching her now.
(her heart beat intensified)
He was tall and dressed to kill in tight black jeans
(tiny droplets of sweat slipped down her cheek)
With haunting ice blue eyes

She leaned agaisnt the bar, trying to play it cool. He brushed up against her, sending instant shivers down her spine.

"Room 249," he whispered.

She looked in her hand, at the plastic room key.
