She says she doesn't love him,
That he forced her into marriage.
He made her pregnant, threatened to leave,
Then took her to the altar in a carriage.

He says he 'loves her loads',
Something I can't see.
But then he shouts and screams and slaps,
Lock him up and throw away the key.

She says she wants to leave him -
"I'll do it tomorrow. No. Later."
Yet she cooks and cleans and cares for him,
To his needs she shouldn't cater.

He says he's "very sorry",
While he sits on his high horse.
He screams out orders without a pause
And laughs without remorse.

She cowers in the corner,
Letting him lord it all.
She takes his crap until finally
She comes to me to bawl.

I'm the mediator,
The one who keeps the peace.
I'm the parent, the mum, the dad.
But who will care for me?

Aww, this one's really good Mike, and it made me feel so sad. I'm kinda lost for words, I will say one thing though, you should come live with me, mine have just stopped speaking to each other entirely :P I hope it gets better for you, i really do.

Right about now, I'd go and live anywhere else but here Holly. I wish mine'd stop speaking. They've started arguing on a daily basis now.
