I must not lie.
I must not steal.
I must not cry.
I must not feel.

I must not cheat.
I must not fight.
I must not be.
I must not hold tight.

I must not live.
I mut not die.
I must not be me.
I must not be alive.

------- Author's Notes -------

You know how when you were younger and got into trouble, the teacher made you write lines? I used to have to write 200 a time. I wrote this poem one day after getting into trouble from my parents for being 'too depressive'. They make me feel that I'm doing something wrong by expressing how I feel, even though I hide my feelings most of the time. It conjured up my memories of writing lines, and it went from there.

its hard..

I can relate to this, being expressive gets me in trouble. not being expressive gets me in trouble. What am I supposed to do? Some people don't understand

wow

this is true ,it is explained in a very simple way but it says so much, almost like if every word counted as a hundred more.
