I've Got Reason To Interfere

i almost took my life
i almost placed the blade
underneath my skin
i almost took my life
right before you came

i heard your voice on the other side of the door
askin' me to unlock the door
but i was froze
right were i was

before there was nothin' to stop me
why do you want to interfere?

never had someone whom cared
i never had a mother to love me
the way that i want
you put yourself in harms way
to get my life back in control
a stranger am i
you must really
honor Gods love so much

i almost took my life
almost spilled some blood
before you kicked in the door

i broke down and cried
as you took me in your arms
the blade went tumblin' to the floor

i'm so glad you came
truth is
as you witness these tears in my eyes
i don't want to die

------- Author's Notes -------
