My Son, The Sailor One
28 June, 2005

vinebar

my son,the sailor
not by blood
but,that doesn't matter
to me
he's still my son

a sensitive man he has become
so much of his passion
for life of love was lost and taken away

the harder he tried the more he lost
but deep in his heart
his passion remains at rest

give him a moment of your time
and he steals your heart
give him a second
and you'll melt and fuse into his

my Son the sailor
he is so much like me
together we laugh
together we cry

far away we are
from far away
you'll hear the soft whisper of an echo
of a mother and a son
echoin'

"Good night"
