open my eyes Lord
open my heart too
enrich me with a lovin' and givin' soul

you gave my life meanin'
yet i failed to understand
i let it fall apart with
my insecurity

quiet my thoughts within
so i may feel you inside
share your compassion that i lost
i set my soul free

you've reached me
with your greatest lesson here on earth
and again i failed with my heart and soul
please replace my once unconditional love

so that the one you gave me to love
will love me as i am
as i was and as i will be
until eternity
