Author: KitKatrina

It was too magnificent,
Too overwhelming to be real,
Maybe Iíve just gone mad,
Am I really feeling what I feel?
Itís an illusion.

Is all of this in my head?
Or is this really you before me?
It must be my imagination,
Iím not seeing what I see,
Itís an illusion.

If this is real I must be dead,
If Iím dead who even cares?
Iím seeing you before me,
Itís been 3 whole years,
Itís an illusion.

I can feel and hear and see you,
I can smell your sweet cologne,
This is not an ordinary dream,
I know Iím not alone,
Itís an illusion.

I donít know what this means,
Itís not a dream but youíre dead,
What am I seeing right now?
This canít all be in my head,
Itís an illusion.

Father if you can hear me,
I need to know if this is real,
This canít be my imagination,
I can see and hear and feel,
Itís an illusion.

Where did you go Dad?
I still smell your sweet cologne,
I know you are still here,
I know Iím not alone,
Was it an illusion?

------- Author's Notes -------

I still don't know what I saw, some things are unexplainable. My father died about 3 years ago when I was 13. It is really hard for me, but what I saw has comforted me!
