unconditional love
you gave me love that never
made me cry

you gave me love
that was strong
and never went astray or wrong
your love
gave me strength
you gave me love
that had meanin'
to us, not just to me

you gave me love that
moved the world

love that filled
empty oceans
so deep
from love that melted
packed snow upon every peak
above so high
every mountain top

spreadin' love
within the gentleness
of the whisperin' wind

you shared
one of a kind, special love
known only to me

love that was felt
deep in my heart
in every beautiful way

your love was
the rainbow
of every soft cloud

your love was the warmth
in every sunrise
the passion
in every sunset

your love was the thought and wish
upon every shootin' star
upon every midnight moon

you were the love
that flowed through
every vein within me

you were the love that
lived in my soul

you were the love
that became the beat
in my heart
the love that became
my world and my entire life

love changed
the day that you died
my heart and soul became weak
my heart shattered
my soul screamed and cried

when the embrace of your
simple love
was taken away

the day you died
i watch myself lay dyin'
right next to your heart

my love is a part
that will never
be shared or given
to another heart

when you died
my love died too
cause i couldn't live without you

old write,brought back to life, had the need ,to feel his love again.his love always brought me renewed strength, in my soul and in my heart.

Absolutely breath-taking poem Terrie. This poem was so beautiful, and so heart-felt. It is nice to hear that your love for your husband(I assume) will never be given to another heart. You'll never love someone like you love him. I'm sure these exact words would've come from him as well. And let his love still bring you that renewed strength. Just some words of encouragement, for all the things you've said to me. Reading your comments, make me feel loved and warmth. Always keep moving forward, great poem.
