I See You, In Black & White

I see, you in a moment of privacy, you reach for your heart. I see, everything.
Click, you are mine forever, you gave up your private shadows for me. I'm the
First page, of your heart's memories, now turn the page, there we are, again
You and I, in Black & White by the rode side, on vacation. God, you are hot

I take out my old Brownie, for another shot, got you locked again, in Black &
White. I'll see you in life's picture album, sweetheart, all you see, is just you & me
In Black & White, no phony shades, just you and me, in Black & White
Now, the years, have moved by, you sit in your favorite chair & stare at me

Just you & me in a private moment that has gone on, for so, many years
Now. as I change the film to fast speed, marriage, some rock & roll
A guiet room, just for two, along the beach, the sharks are close to shore
All you feel are my arms as they fade to, Black & White, then come the tears

You cry in color, time changes everything, from Black & White
Our grand-kids are raising hell around you, but you don't care
As you kiss each one and put them down and say, go play
Wish your grand-pa was here in color, not Black & White

I See You,In Black & White

------- Author's Notes -------

When my grand mother passed away, she was sitting in an old, wooden chair, and had this picture album, laying in her lap.
