I look back on the days
spanned across my shame
those who hated
and those who despised
are now all as good as those who had tried
those who had helped me along a broken road
and helped me through times
that truly broke a mold
for life may be sweet
or life may be random
either way we may still be caught red handed
to the times we don't forget
and the times we don't remember
there's always a place for it
a friend that will remember
we will always hold our start to our hart
and we will never forget
what it was from the start
as we begged to escape
we now find the truth
only after we've left
I ask what was it to you
there is something left to be said
but as such I don't remember
I'll never be eager to forget
the place that is now so tender
