Author: Ben Franklin
Her family have a reputation,
their classed as scum,
crack "head" dad,
They live on a run down estate,
they find money for their habit
but cant food on their daughters plate.
She's bright and always goes to school
trying to look respectful,
but the kids know who her parents are
so that makes her non acceptable.
Everyday she feels out of place,
everyday she feels like she's invading an unknown space,
because of her association with her parents
everyday she gets put down and spat in the face.
She tries to keep up with the latest
and this month it's drinking,
but she knows not to jump on that boat
as she knows it will start sinking.
She just wants people to realize
that shes not like her Mum & Dad,
all shes looking for is a person to understand,
for thats the one thing she has never had.
