Never mind the stars in the night,
Complemented by silky moonlight.

Never mind the reflections in the ocean,
Which seem to signify some sort of emotion.

Never mind the carressing breeze,
Fermenting ripples across the seas.

Never mind all that romantic imagery,
And words such as "darling" and "baby".

Just let me say something honest and true,
I enjoy spending time with you.

Excellent

A lot of people sometimes dwell on the storyline of a poem...This of course is quite acceptable. In this poem the storyline is very good but the rhyme, meter and word usage is excellent. Great visual imagery and metaphors.
