The Fool
16 September, 2003

Shadows fall within these walls,
A clenching soul does burn,
Random words somehow escape,
"The fool in me returns"...

Depths of light do clamour,
A yearning message cries,
Random words somehow escape,
"Your soul within my eyes"...

Autumn leaves are changing,
Their flight in skies so cool,
Random words somehow escape,
"Indeed I played the fool"...

So unclear the future,
Lights opaque; divine,
Random words somehow escape,
"My love for you, supine"...

Leah G and John are my mouthpiece

They've said what I'm about to say, for I agree with them! Counsellina, you must be a relative of Shakespeare, for the stanzas that you've written had me spellbound!
Intriguing poet, very intriguing!
