People tell her she's a beautiful girl,
but she just can't believe the world,
When she looks in the mirror, her thoughts are sad,
and the way she appears really makes her mad.
Her life's rule that makes her fall:
"If you can't eat and throw up, don't eat anything at all."
Her self-confidence has all been shot,
Because she knows that beautiful is something she's not.
She doesn't want to look the way she does now,
she want to be happy, show no trace of a frown.
The girl prays everyday for her image to change,
that she'll think she's pretty-for her thoughts to rearrange,
Maybe one day she'll see herself as the rest,
That she really is lovely- that she is the best.

lost...

We are always after what others have, right? I often find myself looking in the mirror and thinking.."err". Why would anyone want to be with me or give me the time of the day looking like this, but you know what, you realise that human kindness and love is still out there when somone accepts you for you!you are lovely... so shine with the rest!
