Breakin' From A Coma Of Darkness by Terrie*

For a great length of time, you sat back quietly
watchin' my life and heart unfold

at a distance you listened , to the waves in my heart
as they broke against the shore
my heart released a thunderous flow
a heart full of emotions and pain
yet an ocean of a kind gentle stream
that hid the turmoil and strife in my life
for somethin' i lost and could never gain back

lonely lost feelin's , my soul slipped into a coma of darkness
and bitter coldness so heavy and deep
like a summer's day, you lightened my spirit
with such a warm embrace,and a gentle summer breeze
i soon learned to accept what life took away

your thoughts removed the dark cold, deep
thunderous emotions that hid well beneath
the flow ,gently crashin', against the shores of my life
like pottery the thick clay , removes itself from around my soul
cracked open so wide for the real me to escape and be set free
from the left over pain,darkness and bitterness ,that kept me prisoner of my life

my heart and soul broke free sought and found relief
your gentleness, touched the life
that continues to escape and flows within me

No cold waves, just gentleness and serene peace all surroundin'
as they wash over the vessel,i protect with all my might
known as my heart, brought forth a calmness of feelin's
in which i hold deep inside

i wish today, to take the time to ponder beneath my Angel's wings
and place myself within the midst of your path
offer you what your heart may desire
as i share my friendship, from afar
i hope of me you never tire

you took time, as you held my words in your thoughts,
so warm and tenderly ,with such pride i hold my head up high, and return the respect

i have come to know the quiet tranquil gentle peace of my own lake
that lives within known to me as tears , that are slowly fadin' away

my life like a rose,unfolded in ways, i never dreamed of,
your thoughts held me captive ,even if only for a moment,i was inspired for a life time
altogether,i Stopped searching,for the perfect means of escape,
by allowin' myself to reach into each and everyday
as i reach deep into my heart

i thank God for the important message ,hidden in each new friendship,
that he puts within my path and places within arms length of my heart,
as we embrace ,at the touch of a keyboard, of inspirin words ,

to wake up to share, the thoughts of life in such a way,
upon sunrises and sunsets of every day born so brand new
thank you my friend , for colorin' my world with a touch of your hearts sweet friendly smile
and friendship's lovely melodies

nothin' cain compare to the rainbow of thoughts shared.
