why does life have to be so hard
i always play the wrong card
living day by day
night by night
i can't do much good
wondering if i could
day by day
night by night
i've done alot of thinking
i'm going to turn things around
i haven't got an inkling
how to get off the ground
day by day
night by night
it will get better
just as a bird will lose a feather
