at life's threshold
i stand without a cause
i stand and not ask why
i just stand and await my call

at life's threshold
i search what was mine
i hug him and hold him
and set his soul free

at life's threshold
i turn my life around
a door about to close awaits
i thank God for love so divine
his gift that was once mine

i kneel down, i take a deep breath,i tap my heart,
i wipe away a lonely tear, i say good bye

at life's threshold
i find it all within time
an opened door, awaits me
i greet what God presents to me
his gift of love has been restored and renewed with love

i kneel down,i take a deep breath, i tap my heart,
i reach out and touch your hand,i welcome love back into my life

at life's threshold
to love honor and behold
God's gift came my way
forever and a day

To live in my heart
And never grow apart

At the end we leave precious memories of love
All given by God's grace from above
