Bruises fade as heartache lays in the shade.
Time ticks on as I accept that you're gone.
Life moves along as I realise I was wrong.

My mind now thinks clear as you are not near.
Closure is mine and it's taken some time.
D-day has came and I don't feel the same.

Smiles come so easy now you're no longer part of me.
Dormant is my pain as I take on the rain.
My parade is clear now you are not here.

You can't hurt me or make me feel dirty.
Power is mine for now and all time.
I'm glad you love me no longer as all of this has made me stronger.

It's took me a while but I'm here with a smile.
My pain now gone as a new love is shone.
How can it be that I now LOVE ME?!?!
