Can't You Take A Joke?!

You hide your pain behind 'joking' slaps.
You smile and laugh as you attack.
Anything I say, anything I do,
Whatever it is, it's enough for you.

Relieve it on me, I'm used to it.
I'll take your crap, I'll take your shit.
You have no idea how much it hurts
To be hit by your loved ones, to be treated like dirt.

You and him - two peas in a pod.
Who you hurt you don't give a toss.
You get your kicks out of our pain.
It's a wonder that I'm still sane!

You take the piss, you pinch and punch.
Then you forget it and make me lunch.
Do you really feel regret?
Or have you not reached that stage yet?

It gets to me, the way you act.
You hitting me while the rest sit back.
I've been through pain, yet you add more.
Why rub salt on wounds still sore?

Am I really that hateful?
Is your life really that dull?
I'm the weird kid, or so you say.
I'm the one you should have made go away.

Well it's too late, coz here I am,
Not that you seem to give a damn.
I'm here forever, I'll never leave.
I'll haunt you for each day you breathe.

First post in a long time.. I've started drawing rather than writing, but I'm hoping to write more soon.
