I wish upon the shooting star
in the sky I see so far
to have you in my arms at night
to see your face in the light
to feel your touch and taste your kiss
the greatest thing, I'll always miss
In my dreams I hear your voice
I know I love you but not by choice
the pain I feel when your not here
to know I'll never have you near
I had your kiss and held it tight
I tried to hold, with all my might
You took it away, not to return
It's gone forever, the lesson to learn
my heart was treated like a toy
this was the product, of an average boy
I was naive I thought you cared
with all we done and all we shared
But now I know it was a lie
but all that's left are the tears I cry
