I could hide my face from humanity
I could easily tease the crowd
I could be the queen of the world
Or I could just easily drown
I'm a fooler and a taker
Yet give what I can take
I trick others around me
And lie to myself for ache
People think it's easy
To sing with your soul
People can't manage to live
Without creating a respected role
Fooling the world
Seeming to to fine
Yet no one could see
The the pain I claim as mine
If time wasn't against me
And sorrow didn't fill my heart
I would have been savored
And played my role from the start
Why shan't I be a willow
Who weeps freely within its time
But unfortunately for me, as you see
I can only sit, and speak this rhyme
Death follows the believers
Misery follows the pain
Sadness spreads like a virus
Leaving the heart in vein
If only I had another chance
And correct for all I've lied
Then this poem wouldn't have been written
And my friend would never have died

Okay, before any of you start asking lots of questions of why I put another poem on, after I said I was through, let me just explain...A recent even happened, concerning a friend of mine. He ran away a couple of months ago, and that was the last I saw of him, right after we had a huge arguement. Well, I recently found out he got killed, and felt it was needed to put a poem up here to dedicate it to him...So, this is for John, the friend whom I wish I could have helped...
