No grass around
no creatures sound
a room quiet
a man..sitting alone
on a computer..
no other sound
dim light
do I flitter on him
from his leg to arm
or creep on his neck
hey man! what can I eat
can I check
would you stomp me if
i get you irritated
the thought of it makes
me puke and sedated
dont you feel like
taking fresh air
I miss the greenery
your home is so bare
I could make it my home
wont bother you but just roam
in some potted plant that you might get
under some drooping leaf I make my home and rest
or better still leave the window open
so that i go back to my green haven.

The thoughts of an insect

Hey Moon! Like anonymous said, this is a very nice poem! Using this poem in first person, as if you were the grasshopper! I suppose that's what they may be thinking. I'm too much of a wimp to want to know any further. I hate bugs! But what an intriguing poem Moon! You go girl!
